In his spare time, CRNC Executive Director Ethan Eilon decided to put together a video on why John McCain is the type of man that the youth in this country want to support.
Its short, sweet, and simple. Watch it now — and share with your friends:
“Today’s youth knows the virtues required to lead. We are looking for someone who leads by example, who pushes us to achieve something greater then ourselves, who urges us forward past fear and reticence, who will lead in dark times and glory. We have found John McCain.”
Senator Saxy Chambliss was unable to attend the GACR State Convention last week due to a scheduling conflict - Friday night he was attending the USS Georgia’s Return to Service Ceremony at the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. It is sometimes hard to juggle an official schedule with a campaign one. However, Saxby is trying his best to reach out to College Republicans across the state and will be in attendance at various events over the next months.
This Saturday he will be attending UGA’s G-Day Game and visiting the UGA College Republican Tailgate beforehand.

One speaker that proved especially interesting at State Convention was Kathy Kuzava, president of the Georgia Food Industry Association (represents Georgia’s grocery industry to state legislators and regulatory agencies). Kathy was there to talk about her hottest current issue: A Sunday sales bill at the state capitol.
We encourage all students to take an active part in the process of this bill (even if you’re against it!). There’s an awesome website that follows the journey of the bill — you can even link to the petition that Kathy talked about. Check out www.VoteSundaySales.com.
A big thanks to Connor Carolan-Tolbert, Chairman of GA Tech CR’s, for all his help in hosting the State Convention at GA Tech. Thanks also to all members of GA Tech CR’s for pitching in to help with whatever was needed.
You guys rock!
Thanks also to…
Brant Barber, Chairman of Georgia State, for his help in the initial planning process.
Jade Morey, N. GA Regional Director, for taking on the task of designing, ordering and distributing GA Students for McCain t-shirts.
Mary Szelistowski for all her help and excitement…especially that “dance” on stage as the Lt Gov walked in the room! We’re going to miss you.
